In Honor of Steven Wyatt Pippin

This business exists because of a man who believed in showing up, doing things the right way, and taking care of people.

Steven Wyatt Pippin was more than a coworker—he was a brother, a mentor, and a steady presence in James' life and in the life of his family. During a season when James needed direction, Steven welcomed him into the HVAC trade and quietly taught him the skills, work ethic, and integrity that would one day become James Cory Heating and Air.

Steven passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2020. His loss was profound, but his influence remains woven into everything we do. Every service call reflects the values he lived by: honesty, reliability, and care for others.

We want to honor his legacy here—and to remind ourselves why the work matters.

James Cory Heating and Air was built on commitment, integrity, and a deep belief that every season has a purpose. James and Cory first met in 2007 during Marine Corps combat training, where they learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities that continue to shape both their family and their business today. They were engaged in 2010 and married in April 2011, beginning a life rooted in faith and service.

As their family grew, so did their vision. James and Cory are proud parents to their daughters, Journee and Emry, who are daily reminders of why hard work, honesty, and reliability matter. Through every challenge and opportunity, they’ve remained grounded in the belief that God is faithful, always working for a reason, and always seeing His people through.
